The Concord Connect app is a valuable tool for residents of Concord who want to stay connected with their city government. It is a convenient way to report issues, stay informed about city news and events, and participate in the city's decision-making process.

The app is an online software application that streamlines the reporting of concerns throughout the city. Use of the app helps staff resolve issues efficiently.

There are a few ways for the public to participate in City Council meetings in Concord. Participation is primarily through making public comments on specific agenda items at city council meetings. Meeting agendas can be reviewed at the Agenda Center of the City’s website.

There are specific instructions on how to participate in city council meetings at the top of each meeting agenda. Members of the public can:

  • Attend the meeting in person: City Council meetings are open to the public and are held at the Council Chamber at 1950 Parkside Drive, Concord, CA 94519. Meetings start at 6:30 PM on the 1st, 3rd and 4th Tuesdays of each month.
  • Participate via Zoom: Zoom links and passcodes are included in meeting agendas. There are specific instructions in each agenda for people who wish to make a public comment via Zoom.
  • Submit public comment: The public can submit public comments in writing or by speaking at the meeting. Written comments must be submitted to the City Clerk's office by 3:00 PM on the day of the meeting. Contact the City Clerk's office at (925) 671-3390 or email [email protected].
  • Contact your City Council member: If you have a specific issue you would like to discuss, you can contact your City Council member directly. You can find their contact information on City Council page of the City's website.
  • Watch the meeting online: City Council meetings are live streamed on the City's website (visit the Agenda Center). You can also watch them on Comcast Channel 28, Astound Channel 1026, and U-verse Channel 99.

Concord’s Recreational Services Department creates community through people, parks, and programs. They offer an extremely broad array of activities and facilities - in Concord, you are never far from open green space or a fun activity.

The Concord Senior Center is a place for all people to participate, establish relationships, and share similar interests with others in a friendly environment. The City of Concord is dedicated to preserving and enhancing the quality of life in the city. The Code Enforcement Unit works towards this goal by resolving blight, public nuisance and property maintenance problems. The Code Enforcement Unit partners with the community through the implementation of Neighborhood Partnership Programs and a host of other services.
